I was a practicing solo general practitioner/owner in College Station, Texas for seventeen years.
I completed a three year Prosthodontic Post-Graduate Residency with a Certificate in Prosthodontics and a M.S. in Oral Biology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.
I'm a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists.
I have been a full-time prosthodontic faculty, teaching at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Clinics from July 2001 to January 2016. I was the staff prosthodontist at the Iowa City VA from January 2016 to September 2016, at which time I returned to the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Clinics.
I provide Fixed, Removable and Implant Prosthodontic care in a university-based dental practice with an emphasis on functional and esthetic implant reconstruction and rehabilitation and graftless implant rehabilitation of the severely atrophic edentulous patient. My research interest is developing evidence-based diagnostic criteria that will correlate diagnosis to treatment and outcomes.
