ICD Fellow Dr. Zachary F. Carden just finished writing his novel, A Memorable Thing. 

Zack Carden is a retired dentist who practiced in Chattanooga, Tennessee for over thirty-six years. He was the 2009/2010 President of the Tennessee Dental Association. He is also the current scientific editor of the award-winning TDA Journal. He graduated from Carson-Newman University, with a B.S., and the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry (with honors).

Zack is a Vietnam veteran (decorated), where he attained the level of Captain in the U.S. Army. 

Formerly a watercolor painter with several awards and national exhibitions to his credit, Zack has now concentrated his efforts on the craft of writing.  

Zack has enjoyed writing mainstream fiction for more than twenty years. He has two books in print: The Secret Files of Henry F. Sherwood (a biography), and Tootie Greene written under a pseudonym Zachary F. Scott. He has two other novels completed and two more in the edit stage.

Zack loves golf—playing it—watching it—and collecting its' ephemera. He carried a single-digit handicap for more than thirty years. Zack and his wife, Anne, also an excellent writer, have traveled extensively, and they shared a joint venture in antiques. They live on Lake Chickamauga
